Bluebird Trail Walk at Antietam National Battlefield. Participants will be conducted on a tour of some important battle sites in addition to visiting some of the trail's nestboxes. There will be no charge for the tour, but anyone wishing to go into the Visitor's Center will be charged the usual entrance fee of $4 per person or $6 per family. http://www.nps.gov/ancm/index.htm

Wednesday, January 8, 2014, 7 p.m. Potomac Valley Audubon Society's monthly meeting will be focusing on the Antietam Bluebird Trail.  Admission is free and everyone is welcome to attend. The Antietam Bluebird Trail is one of the oldest Bluebird trails on the East Coast. It was established in 1979 by Sharpsburg Md. residents Mark and Jean Raabe, who sought and received the National Park Service's blessing for the project. - For more information go to this link.
